Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc.,
at their Annual Meeting held in San Francisco,
California,

RESOLUTION ON USE OF WATER SUPPLY AS
VEHICLE FOR DRUGS
WHERE AS, the right to determine what shall be done to one’s own body in fundamental, and
WHERE AS, water is necessary for life, and
WHERE AS, many people are dependant on public supplies for water,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc., assembled in San francisco, California this 12th day of April, 1958, condemns the addition of any substance to public water supplies for th purpose of affecting the bodies or the bodily or mental functions of the consumers.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the President of the United States, the members of Congress, the Governors of the several states, and the mayors of our principal cities, and released to the media of public information.
