One Micron V Two Micron Reverse Osmosis

Well,  I have suspected for some time that most of the Asian Origin Reverse Osmosis Systems which in my experience and to my knowledge all come with a 0.0002um  membrane

DO NOT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO REMOVE FLUORIDE FROM DRINKING WATER.

They make 2 systems

WRO 3000 has a 0.0002 micron membrane which is a great machine for contaminated  US Well Water and Australian bore water for that matter  – but does NOT remove Fluoride.

WRO 3500 has a 0.0001 micron membrane which does remove Fluoride.

Both systems were tested by the NSF in the USA and carry NSF 58 Tested and Certified Performance for removal / reduction of each listed compound.

There is not actually a great difference in cost between the Asian 0.0002 micron non Fluoride removal RO’s and a tested and certified US build 0.0001 micron Fluoride removal RO system.

WRO 3500 will retail in Australia for $585 delivered – yearly maintenance cost of $20 per year and a triennial  (every 3 years) cost of $150 – average cost over 3 years of $65 / year.

WRO 3500 comes with a lead free faucet [tap] as well, not the leaded faucets that are supplied with the cheap Asian RO’s.

Please pass the info forward – it is a shame that people who have invested in RO systems may have something that is not performing the function that they installed it for – but I thought that they, you folk and others would rather know than not know.
